This massive screened-in porch runs the entire length of the back of the home. The client wanted a transparent roof so that more light would reach the rooms. We relegated the cat elements to the sides and corners to maintain the view of the hillside for the cat guardian.
Screened-in Porches
This huge screened-in patio/catio provides the cats and humans with plenty of shared outdoor space. Happy to report that both the kiddos and the cat guardians were thrilled with the final result.
Once again, we turned a completely unused space into a lovely joint cat/human room. Screened-in balconies essentially add usable square footage to the home. And how great does it look?
A stunning screened-in balcony on a Los Angeles hillside offers the sibling kittens a vast outdoor playground. It also doubles as a feeding and litter area.
An absolutely gorgeous joint cat-human space. The cat guardians never used the balcony prior to our install, and now use it all the time with their fur family.
Another huge screened-in porch with limited cat elements primarily in the corners. Be sure to check out the video, which includes a cool aerial drone shot of the roof.
We enclosed a second-story Manhattan Beach home with a heavy-duty privacy screen. Neighbors cannot see inside, while the views from inside are spectacular. The screen also limits the harsh, cold ocean winds from reaching the homeowner’s balcony.
We converted an unused outdoor space into a wonderful shared human/feline area. The cat guardians can enjoy spectacular views without being eaten alive by mosquitos, while the fur family has a fabulous outdoor playground.
This gorgeous screened-in porch/catio is the second Custom Catios enclosure for the cat guardian and her two furballs. Inside there is plenty of space for the hooman to hang with her fur family. For the kiddos, it’s a full-on cat-Disneyland.
The client got permission from the city to screen in their front-facing balcony off the master bedroom. We used custom redwood screencaps, which enabled us to match the colors perfectly.
